Fierce and Fabulous Teens is a conference created to
inspire and change the lives of girls aged 12-19 years. This is a one-day young
girls empowering conference that will provide young girls with a meaningful
experience designed to help them discover their innate qualities and strengths,
and to challenge them to reach higher levels of personal growth and
development.
Programming for the conference attendees includes
breakout sessions of themed tracks for careers, personal development, health
and wellness. These breakouts will be delivered by various successful women who
represent a variety of careers, choices and/or are experts on issues that young
girls are facing. We anticipate serving over 300 girls
from all areas of Johannesburg.
The conference promises to be an inspiring day full of
networking, education, mentor ship workshops, vendors, entertainment, bonding
with friends, and a powerful message from a distinguished Keynote Speaker.
Why this Conference?
This generation of women will make up half of our work
force, be our future business and civic leaders, policymakers, athletes,
artists and educators.
Young women around the globe possess the collective
power to change their lives, their communities and the world we live in. Just as they
face daily challenges, young women are continually developing innovative,
effective ways to improve their lives. By bringing together their wisdom and
creativity, young women are leading change.
As we continue to develop and define our leadership, the
advice and example of
older, more experienced women are invaluable. By working
together, women of all ages can help each other grow, maximize young girls
strengths and fulfill their potential as change makers.
Mission
Our mission is to effect change in young girls by
renewing the minds and restoring values as we work to increase their self worth
and retrain them on what it looks like to be a young women in today’s society.
The Goal
• Provide a leadership conference that fosters the
leadership development and growth of high school girls.
• Build self-awareness and encourage high self esteem.
• Provide role models through conversations and exposure
to a diverse group of senior female executives and other successful women.
